• Origin: Qingliangfeng, Anhui, China
• Variety: Rare, wild hybridized tea tree cultivar. 80 years +
• Altitude: 1000+ meters
• Tree age: 80+
• Environment: Grown amidst lush forests on Qingliang Peak, a national nature reserve.
• Leaves: Very large loose green leaves. Open despite slight curling. Silver hairs densely cover the back of many leaves.
• Flavour: Smooth and full-bodied with a bold, rich aroma, characterised by hints of dates.

Preparation

To brew tea,  steep a packet of tea (5g) in teapot or Gaiwan (120ml) with  near-boiling water for roughly 10 seconds, depending on the desired strength.
